If you're in a real hurry, someone turns up unexpectedly or can't eat what you've already prepared, then this is a brilliant quick and easy solution.

Wheat free, dairy free, nut free, meat free version...

  1. Halve the fruit, sprinkle a tsp of sugar between two halves, and then grill in a dish or on some foil until the sugar starts to caramelise.

Maybe serve with...

Serve them on their own, or maybe with some berried fruit and/or with dollop of dairy-free vanilla ice-cream.

For those able to eat wheat...

Serve with any vegan friendly wafer biscuits, curls or amaretto biscuits.

If you have fruit leftover, see the apple crumble, the granité, the jelly cups, the chocolate pots or the trifle.
