miscellaneous | hot chocolate
Makes one smallish cup/mug (not one of those bucket-sized ones!)
After visiting Pemberton's chocolate factory where my family live in Wales, I had visions of simply melting some chocolate and adding a bit of rice milk, and all would be well. How wrong could someone be! That didn't quite work out, but this is a very simple and quick non-dairy hot chocolate which is beautiful when you're cold and can't get warm - or it's a dark wintery night outside.
Wheat free, dairy free, nut free, meat free version...

A lovely freshly made toasted oat slice

You could add a dollop of vanilla or chocolate icecream (or both!) for those that can eat dairy! Or a swirl of cream maybe...
If you have rice milk leftover, see the rice pudding, the banana smoothie and the vanilla sauce. If you have cocoa leftover, see the truffles and Maggie B's chocolate cake.
